March 6 & 7, 2010

Over 100 artists, many in "native environments" will be showing their works and meeting art lovers over the first weekend of March.  What a wonderful way to spend a day...wandering around Southeast Portland, experiencing sculpture, painting, jewelry, pottery, photography, encaustic, print-making, textile...almost every conceivable medium for expression.

And much of these will be in the homes and studios of the artists themselves, allowing you to get to know our local artists.  Their art will be for sale, of course--often at reduced prices.  So this is a fantastic opportunity to add to--or begin!--your art collection.

The event is free.  Maps will be available at local merchants and can be downloaded from this site.  If you click on the Art Map button to the right you can go to an interactive map site that not only lists their location, but shows photos of their art and links to their websites.

The event takes place rain or shine (pray for shine!).  See you on the sidewalks of SE!
